Poetry and poetic translations

The bulk of my original poetry is written in Swedish and English. Its character will differ somewhat depending on language; most of my Swedish poetry is original, whereas the English mostly features poetic translations. I have also written a few fragments in ancient languages, esp. Old Norse.

Not all of my known poetry will be reproduced here. I began writing poetry in 2017, inspired by Swedish poet Cornelis Vreeswijk, and much of my early work was horribly written (e.g. a poem about the Antikythera mechanism, which ended: "And each man went swimming, / And each man then drowned, / The end of an Era, / The start of a new, / Just outside of the island Antikythera.").

For English translations of Germanic alliterative poetry, see my Edda project.
